    Position summary

    WHAT WILL YOU EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE:

    • Acts as primary liaison between users and DAM system with regard to digital asset file names, classifications, etc.
    • Responsible for assigning appropriate metadata schema for assets and ensure accurate usage rights accelerate availability data.
    • Validating and approving all the digital assets before make it available in DAM system for users.
    • Assure compliance and adherence to process and guidelines.
    • Analytics Reporting - Monthly analysis and summary of digital data usage. Development and delivery of metrics reports / analysis – include number of assets by brand / SBU’s available on the platform etc.
    • Digital Asset Migration – Transferring files from network drive to DAM system and ensuring data and file integrity is maintained as per the guidelines.
    • Manage the Digital Asset system and facilitate the uploading of assets as well as maintaining and upgrading the system.
    • Registers internal and external users to the Digital Asset Management system based on permissions.
    • Facilitates retrieval of previously cataloged digital assets.
    • Contributing to and assisting with the development of the DAM Platform, including improvement of metadata taxonomy, UI improvements.

    • Additional Experience Desired
      • Product Information Management
        • Responsible for process definition and business logic utilized in on-boarding and build-out of PIM (P360) capabilities across the nVent segments.
        • Work with IT infrastructure team to manage data integration efforts between PIM solution and multiple inbound and outbound sources both internal and external.
        • Understanding of end to end delivery and implications and supporting technologies (CMS, DAM, SEO, UX, etc)
    • General Operations
      • Experience in building and releasing software applications in a controlled environment with an understanding of full life-cycle configuration management activities, while performing related system administration activities
      • Responsible for validating and maintaining operational control of Production system configurations and software baselines.
      • Coordinates with technical leads to schedule system downtimes and release schedules and ensure proper configuration control of all system changes.
      • Provide design and implementation guidance and tutoring as necessary to team members in best practices, tool use, and quality assurance.
      • Identify and implement innovative solutions to present and future customer needs; this includes deriving requirements from customer interactions.
      • Working with IT to ensure appropriate security and access levels
      • Oversee system specific updates and release schedules
      • Develop system specific performance KPIs to measure business value realization.
      • Manage team of analysts, developers and administrators in an agile/scrum fashion.

    YOU HAVE:

    • Academic background in Bachelor’s Degree
    • Previous experience in or with 7+ years working knowledge of Digital asset management system such as Acquia and/or Widen.
      • While a solid working knowledge of Acquia / Widen DAM products is preferred other DAM platforms will also be considered.
    • Experience working with PIM platforms and tools such as Informatica P360.
      • While a solid working knowledge of Informatica P360 is preferred, other PIM platforms will also be considered.
