    Position summary

    WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

    • Accountable for multiple teams and functional areas along with leading multiple supervisors and managers. Select, develop, and administer a staff with appropriate training, skills, and cultural attitude to maintain all equipment and facilities infrastructure in a safe and efficient working condition.

    • Find opportunities for manufacturing solutions. Drives the team to provide concepts, ROI justification, and budgets for proposed automation.

    • Develop, implement, and maintain a continuously improving integrated maintenance program that optimizes safety performance, asset utilization, cost-effectiveness, and quality objectives to reduce unscheduled downtime, while minimizing maintenance costs.

    • Provide direction and guidance to direct reports and evaluates performance and assist in career development.

    • Lead safety awareness and implement new and innovative techniques to assure a safe working environment.

    • Explore and supervise new processes and procedures to support expanding requirements on cutting-edge technology and product densification.

    • Exchange knowledge and information with other nVent facilities to ensure standard processes are shared throughout the organization.

    • Develop methods to improve manufacturing processes, product flow, and reduce waste using Lean Manufacturing/Ergonomic Manufacturing techniques and culture in the search for productivity improvements focused on cost savings.

    • Drive waste elimination culture across all processes and functions.

    • Partner with campus leaders, site leadership, functional teams, and value stream teams of the site(s) transformation plans and cost reduction funnel.

    • Lead change management activities by creating and implementing transition plans to move from the current to the future state.

    • Develop, evaluate, and implement appropriate preventive maintenance strategies and techniques for a premier reliability program.

    • Drive reliability programs including predictive and preventive maintenance optimization, and effective utilization of resources by pushing the existing time-based PM's toward condition-based maintenance.

    • Drive Reliability Metrics in the TPM program to drive reliability improvements, such as Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).

    YOU HAVE:

    • B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering preferred, or the equivalent in experience.

    • 8+ years of maintenance manager experience and/or experience with reliability analysis, extracting and analyzing performance data from a CMMS, and leading teams toward equipment improvement targets with

    • 5+ years in supervision/management preferred.

    • Manufacturing engineering experience is a plus.

    • General knowledge of LEAN fundamentals; strong LEAN knowledge is desired.

    • Demonstrated results improving efficiency and driving organizational change.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both written and spoken.

    • Ability to positively motivate and mentor employees at all levels of the organization to lead change.

    • Experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) preferred.

    • Strong Technical skills (Robotics, PLC, CAD, etc.).

    • Experience with Facilities Management.
