    Position summary

    WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

    • Support manufacturing processes to ensure equipment uptime, meet production goals and maintain high product quality.
    • Prepare and maintains manufacturing documentation (Routings, BOMS’s, Standard Work, and Work Instructions) for new and existing equipment in manufacturing.
    • See opportunities and lead projects to improve efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality and achieve on time delivery to meet production needs.
    • Lead new equipment installations, process modifications and improvements.
    • Develop tooling and fixtures, and concept prototype machines that result in a complete production automation system
    • Work with operators, team leaders, production manager, lean manager and planners to optimize work center layouts and designs while incorporating material flow and line balancing.
    • Collaborate with maintenance and operators to solve equipment problems.
    • Champion Lean Manufacturing across the plant through cross-functional events and continuous improvement projects

    YOU HAVE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
    • Ideally 2+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or related field.
    • Familiar with  Lean Manufacturing.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers.
    • Experience with AutoCAD and 3D Modeling desirable.
    • Experience with ERP/MRP systems is helpful
    • Communication skills: English & Dutch
