    Position summary

    rms, develop and execute a winning strategy, assisting in the preparation of a proposal, presenting the proposal to the client, and following through the process until winning the order.

    • Interface with nVent's manufacturers' representatives (Reps). All sales efforts are supported collaboratively and sold through various distribution channels.

    • Maintain a robust project funnel within Salesforce CRM.

    • Effectively interact with all key decision makers including end-users, developers, architects, building managers, consulting engineers, plumbing/mechanical contractors, electrical contractors, and distributors.

    • Establish yearly sales plans with your sales channels.

    • Training your sales channels and lending support as needed

    YOU HAVE:

    • Ideally, your background will include an understanding of commercial construction, solutions selling to architects and consulting engineers, and the ability to work with and lead a variety of manufacturing reps and distribution partners within the sales region.

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience is preferred.

    • 5+ outside sales experience in the commercial construction industry is ideal with a preference for electrical sales experience. Any experience with heat tracing or fire-rated wiring is preferred but not vital.

    • Salesforce CRM experience is a bonus.

    • Ability to work 100% remotely from a home office in the sales region and travel on average 50-60% of the time on average
