    WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

    In this position, you will get to:

    • Leverage your (QA) Quality assurance background to enable all of our scrum teams to deliver a comprehensive set of automated tests along with the feature and infrastructure code.
    • Step into the role as a Software Development Manager, joining a team of managers who highly value your QA background, and help support your transition to a manager of full stack software developers.
    • Build, grow, and lead an inclusive, diverse team of software developers responsible for building frameworks, systems, and tools to enable cloud IoT and EHT design software solutions.
    • Coach and mentor team members, helping them to set goals, and enabling them to develop and advance their skills, knowledge, and capabilities.
    • Lead by example, care for your team, and help advance our culture of collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.
    • Recognize and celebrate the ongoing success of the team, as well as individual team members.
    • Collaborate and work with peers across the globe to help improve and champion our agile, scrum, QA, and DevOps practices.

    YOU HAVE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or better in Software Engineering, Computing Science, or equivalent.

    • Proven (2 years or more) management or leadership experience with a focus on QA.

    • Extensive (5 years or more) hands-on experience planning and implementing extensive automated test strategies.

    • Strong desire to expand beyond QA background by coaching and mentoring a team of entry level software developers.

    • Proven ability to collaborate with other technical leaders.

    • A passion for continuous learning to improve your leadership skills.

    • Desire to coach and guide our Agile software development teams in understanding our user’s domain.

    • Ability to effectively communicate at the team, individual, and leadership level.

    • Experience with Selenium, Cypress, and similar tools is an asset.
