Define roadmaps by tracking industry/market trends, collecting current product feedback, prototyping new ideas, and conducting data-driven tradeoff analysis.
Lead and define HW/SW/Board requirement for new feature validation, manufacturing and testing methodology optimization.
Dive into platform/CPU features, internalize the interaction with discreate GPU, work out system level implementation strategy and validation methodology improvement.
Deep dive into technically challenging platform bugs and help drive debug efforts across various teams and vendors.
Drive Board/System level Hardware debug and responsible for product design issues in the life cycle.
What We Need To See:
BS or MS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
8+ years working in x86 platform arch, system design, platform power management, RTD3, High Speed IO(PCIE, USB, TBT, DDR, Display) interoperability and complex system interconnection and validation.
Proven ability to deliver complex projects from specification through to production.
Experience with board design, design for manufacturing/compliance (EMI/Safety)/reliability and stability, signal/power Integrity design.
Strong EE fundamentals, knowledgeable in digital design, computer architecture, power analysis, timing analysis, fault analysis, sampling, statistics, and scripting.
Deep understanding of firmware/driver structures and their interaction with HW.
Hands on with Lab test and measurement equipment is a plus.
Excellent verbal communication and written, presentation skills.
Effective in a collaborative environment.
