OnDeck is looking for a candidate with strong quantitative skills and a solid understanding of credit to join the capital markets team for a new role that will act as a liaison between credit and risk management, the financial planning team and capital markets.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze historical credit and return performance of warehouse funding, securitizations and whole loan sales.
  • Collaborate with the credit and risk teams to project performance of securitizations and warehouse lines relative to covenant requirements and relative to changes in underwriting and credit policy
  • Develop cashflow models for current and future securitizations.
  • Maintain and improve on current treasury loan allocation model as well as assist  with the development of a new loan allocation model
  • Assist in the onboarding of new capital partners and rating agencies
  • Assist in the development of financing strategies for new product roll out.
  • Evaluate originations mix relative to available funding capacity and collaborate with risk team to set portfolio and originations composition targets

Qualifications

Necessary qualifications for success:

  • Capital markets experience
  • Expert in Excel and proficient in SQL
  • 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis or credit risk management
  • Strong logical and analytical skills
  • Basic understanding of capital markets
  • A bachelor's degree in business, management, accounting, economics, statistics, information science or similar (MBA a plus)
