You Can Expect To:
As a member of the Sustena Management Team, you will play an integral role in building our team. The successful candidate will have the ability conduct client research (internal, external, and competitive) to identify meaningful insights and create a cohesive, research-based brand strategy that highlights their differentiation. This person comes with new, innovative ideas and a passion for leading others, but leaves their ego at the door. As a Principal, you can expect to:
- Advance your career to become a Pariveda Vice President through clearly defined expectations, mentorship from executives, and regular opportunities for advancement
- Serve as a strategic and trusted partner to our clients, building our credibility and relationship with key executive stakeholders
- Lead teams of Pariveda and Sustena employees and nurture and grow relationships with multiple clients in a variety of industries
- Actively manage project profitability for both our firm and our clients by taking a leadership role in executing the sales process
- Leverage your understanding of brand strategy to diagnose complex business problems and design and implement compelling market-relevant solutions that leverage Sustena & Pariveda’s capabilities to meet our clients’ needs
- Manage all aspects of the brand development process, including conducting, analyzing, and presenting brand research, crafting the brand positioning and core messaging, and providing strategic content and direction to downstream deliverables (Core Sales Deck, Brand Video, Web strategy, etc.)
- Work closely with client and project teams to influence purpose and positioning to drive future growth, market awareness, and enterprise value
- Participate with clients and project teams to develop brand deliverables for clients utilizing Pariveda and Sustena frameworks and methods
- Deliver presentations and facilitate meetings while adapting communication to varying audiences including high level, executive stakeholders
- Manage the account planning process at existing and prospective clients by identifying new or follow-on opportunities
- Identify needs and strengths for career progression of team members and create opportunities for development
- Mentor junior colleagues by providing career development goals, meeting regularly, writing and deliver semi-annual reviews, and advocating for their career advancement
- Support company growth by building and maintaining a strong professional network as well as contributing to the recruitment of new employees
- Actively represent our culture by leading and participating in efforts around continuous learning, personal and professional development, community service and team building
- Work within a hybrid model, sometimes at home and sometimes in the office

We Look For:
The successful candidate possesses the following critical qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional experience and a strong foundation in brand strategy
- Experience in a consulting or agency environment highly preferred
- Deep experience conducting, analyzing, and presenting brand research and interviews, crafting brand positioning and core messaging, as well as providing strategic content and direction to downstream deliverables
- Demonstrated project management experience - planning, estimation, execution, issue/risk management, and resource management/allocation
- Experience leading cross-functional teams delivering services and experiences that provide innovation and value to clients
- Strong local network of business executives and business acumen across a variety of industries and business functions
- Recognized as a valued trusted advisor in relationships with clients, colleagues, vendors, and other industry professionals
- Ability to build consensus and achieve goals through influence
- Passionate and successful in mentoring others and developing their careers
- Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience
- Legally authorized to work for any company in the US without sponsorship

- Transparent and Equitable Salary. The salary for this position starts at $232,200.00. Actual salaries may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and performance
