    The ‘Manager, In-store Retail Media’ grows monetization revenue by developing and optimizing in-store | at-store retail media products and channels for selling through via the AD Retail Media programs. This role sits within the AD retail media team at Peapod Digital Labs and reports into the Lead | Director of Advertising Technology.

    As a critical part of the AD retail media team, they execute the short-term and long-term plan that will help grow the total value of the retail media portfolio. As an expert in in-store media advertising, digital signage and retail media, this person will be the subject matter expert of select advertising channels (i.e., in-store analog | digital signage; at-store digital out-of-home) that are critical to driving media publisher revenue. This person will use their expertise to identify and grow prospective and existing retail media products and channels, and to maximize profitability and effectiveness while minimizing risk and opportunity costs. They work together with key stakeholders across the ADUSA organization to achieve revenue targets by identifying and delivering innovation, driving continuous improvement, and developing partnerships with third party service/technology vendors. They also partner with IT, RBS, PDL, GSO and Brands teams (i.e., Media Sale, Shopper Marketing, Store Operations, Retail Innovation and Merchandising) to identify, develop and grow monetized channels.

    Recipe for Success - What's “in store” for the role  

    Support implementing the strategy for in-store | at-store retail media products and channels.

    • Key subject matter expert in collaboration with in-store | at-store channel development teams.
    • Project management for all aspects of the development, implementation, and growth of all assigned retail media products and channels, including new and existing in-store | at-store retail media products and channels.
    • Work within developed business models to optimize channel yield and profitability for 3rd party partnerships.
    • Partner with IT, RBS, PDL, GSO and Brand partners to design, test and roll out retail media products and channels.
    • Track key KPIS of mature and developing in-store | at-store retail media products and channels to ensure that revenue targets are being hit, and lead efforts to make any adjustments as necessary.
    • Provide training to the AD retail media team on existing and emerging in-store | at-store retail media platforms.
    • Actively support discovery, assessment and business planning of third-party media and data partnerships or platforms to drive revenue share from indirect in-store | at-store retail media channels.
    • Participate in the efforts related to new and renegotiated contracts with third-party partners, and partner with legal, finance, business development, retail media partners, and accounting stakeholders to successfully complete the contracting process.

    5-7+ years of experience with in-store retail media product and channel development, retail media, digital place-based media, digital signage, in-store signage, digital advertising campaign analytics.

    Extra Spices - What you should bring to the table  

    • Experience working within the grocery retail industry is preferred

    • Effectively communicate to various levels of management 

    • Ability to work within a team centered environment  

    • Demonstrated ability to grow a business idea from incubation to maturity and effectively manage through the various stages of a product lifecycle

    • Passion for innovation to identify and deliver new retail media ad products that drive revenue growth

    • Agency management, developing partnerships with third party service/technology vendors
