Function as a technical advisor and solutions engineer for projects related to digital and paper coupons, loyalty promotions and complex point of sale promotions.  Provide technical expertise of our enterprise offer management tools and offer management business processes in order to provide technical documentation and process optimization recommendations.  Communicate regularly with our IT teams, Product teams and Analytics teams to understand all new features and functionality of our systems and technology.  Assist in the offer execution of marketing and loyalty campaigns across each of our Great Local Brands.  

Recipe for Success - What's “in store” for the role

• Partner with RBS IT teams and PDL product development teams to enable integrated understanding of offer setup and how it impacts the customer experience (in-store and online) 
• Partner with RBS IT teams and PDL product development teams to stay informed of all upcoming technical roadmaps relating to NCR’s Logix platform, POS systems, networks and web/mobile experiences 
• Provide a master level understanding of NCR’s Logix offer management application, defining all promotional offer types supported by Offer Delivery
• Collaborate with RBS data warehousing, RBS finance, RBS Risks and Controls and PDL Analytics partners to establish and adhere to data integrity requirements
• Collaborate and participate in UAT initiatives for projects and system upgrades relating to Offer Delivery
• Coordinate and plan thorough testing of new complex promotion requests from Brands and RBS (e.g. Shopper Marketing initiatives, Digital campaigns, Loyalty programs)
• Upon request for a new offer type to be developed, lead the design, offer definition and business process requirements discussions with RBS IT and PDL product development
• Schedule process reviews and provide process optimization recommendations for Offer Delivery team
• Establish and maintain documentation on data feeds from external sources into Logix and all data feeds exported from Logix to other systems and processes
• Owner of developing enhancements list for the Bulk Offer Load Tool (BOLT) and using Agile development methodologies to manage changes and updates
• Assist in development of automation tools used for offer validation and updating offer content (Access, Excel, Visual Basic, Alteryx)
• Act as the technical lead for quarterly Risk and Control audits
• Troubleshoot offer setup issues and provide root cause analysis and propose/implement preventative solutions
• Review Redemption data to identify any potential offer setup issues (monitor activation/redemption rates)

The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients

• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or IT Systems or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in grocery retail, POS systems or database maintenance
• Minimum of 3 years experience using NCR’s Logix platform, or similar application
• Minimum of 3 years experience in working with personalized marketing or digital marketing data
• Minimum of 3 year of experience using advanced data tranformation tools (e.g. Alteryx, Access)

Extra Spices - What you should bring to the table

• Proficient knowledge in Relational Database Management Systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
• Proficient knowledge of Enterprise Offer Management tools (e.g. NCR Logix)
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite (e.g. Excel, Access, Visio)
• Intermediate knowledge of data transformation tools (e.g. Alteryx)
• Basic understanding of invoice processes for CPG funded promotions
• Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum web development methodolgies
• Proven ability to build strong peer to peer business partnerships and 3rd party vendor partnerships
• Ability to understand technical documents and applications and translate to non-technical individuals
