Recipe for Success - What's “in store” for the role

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Android engineers to drive innovation and deliver top-tier omnichannel mobile shopping experiences
• Collaborate with Product, Experience Design, Program, Web and Backend teams to set and communicate priorities, processes, strategy and plan
• Oversee the development process, from design to deployment, to guarantee the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and scalable Android applications
• Coordinate with Architects and other tech team managers to design, implement, maintain, and own cross-team architecture design and breakdown plan
• Work with Android team to manage GitFlow based CI/CD pipelines
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices

The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science; Master’s degree preferred; or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience leading and managing a team of Android developers in a fast-paced environment
• Extensive knowledge of Android development, including Kotlin, Android SDK, GraphQL and related technologies

• Strong understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architectural principles
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies
• Experience with unit testing, UI testing and Contract testing
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment processes
