    Position summary

    Overview

    • Develop and deliver state of the art commerce platforms for PepsiCo's s PFNA businesses utilizing open source commerce platforms and custom-built solutions.

    • Guide teams of developers and designers utilizing expert knowledge of Cloud Native principles, modern software development stack (Microservices, APIs) and modern software development process (lean, Agile, SAFE, DevOps, CI/CD)

    • This position will bring in necessary ecommerce development skills inhouse and reduce our reliance on vendors in this key strategic area.

    Responsibilities

    • Strong development skills and SME knowledge of JavaScript ecosystem - understand business needs and develop well designed software solutions.
    • Ability to lead employees/ contractors in building eCommerce solutions using commerce related web technologies.
    • Building reusable UI components that can be leveraged by our global organization.
    • Technical leadership to existing employees/ contractors to fast track modernizing skill for our digital transformation helping existing employees modernize their skills- including web/eCommerce capabilities.

    DevSecOps automation knowledge

    • End-to-end experience in software development lifecycle and familiar with agile methodologies.

    • Wide breadth of IT experiences particularly in the eCommerce space.

    • Deep experience with CI/CD, devops development automation

    • Experience with Lean product development and agile software development principles and process

    • Excellent communication skills both oral and written

    Qualifications

    • Overall 7+ years of experience with 5 years in JAVA / Node JS development.
    • 4+ years of experience in design and implementation of any ecommerce applications.
    • 3+ years of experience in Development / Integration with REST services.
      4+ years of experience in SQL / No SQL databases.
    • 7+ years in enterprise Java or Node.js or PHP
    • Deep knowledge of web protocols (HTTP), web services and Restful API's.
    • Java / NodeJs Microservice development
    • DevSecOps automation knowledge
