Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BS in Packaging Science, Chemical, Mechanical, Plastics Engineering or Materials Engineering
5+ years' work experience within food/beverage packaging
Must have experience in the development and execution of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging materials and have knowledge of the interrelationship with equipment.
Working knowledge of TOPS or CAPE
15-25% domestic travel
Preferred Requirements:
Strong project management skills in developing project timelines that meets packaging material and process set up timing; with multiple cross-functional touch points, and managing platform and project budgets, in addition to tracking of spend
Must have strong conceptual, analytical, and technical skills with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must be able to drive packaging innovation from conceptual ideas to sampling to present to cross functional partners.
Maintain open communication and build strong relationships with internal & external teams from suppliers to cross- functionals.
Must be able to handle diverse packaging projects with minimal direction.
Analytical thinking & Innovative thinking
Follow technical stage gate process, create package development plan & timeline, and manage project budget.
Must demonstrate an ability to thrive in a fast-paced and consumer-driven environment.
Compensation & benefits
The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650.
Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
