    Position summary

    Overview

    Last year, PepsiCo set up a new entity, Blue Cloud Distribution, Inc. (BCD) for wholesale operations of RTD Alcohol products - including selling, delivering, and merchandising products. BCD currently distributes Hard MTN DEW (developed and produced by the Boston Beer Company), and recently announced the addition of Lipton Hard Iced Tea (developed and produced by FIFCO USA) to the distribution portfolio. We are looking for talented and passionate team members to join the BCD team that will bring these exciting new products to market.

    The Director, Commercial is part of the Sector Commercial team and is responsible driving the customer agenda in this new and exciting space. This role will have a dotted line reporting relationship to the West Division Commercial team and will support the customer sales team in the sales and distribution of Hard Mtn Dew and Lipton Hard Iced Tea in the West Division.

    Responsibilities

    Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

    • Lead the selling efforts for off premise channels across the West Division, including all segments for Blue Cloud Distribution

    • Provide customer account ownership to include engagement with key accounts in partnership with PBNA account teams

    • Support selling efforts and partnering with PBNA account managers to provide guidance on promotional activation, ASPs, and display support

    • Provide expertise and guidance on alcohol segment to customer teams in divisions, and on sales calls with customers

    • Provide education and materials to build local alcohol knowledge and capability

    • Facilitate customer teams on navigating regulatory challenges

    • Collaborate with alcohol sales strategy, commercial, and GTM teams to provide guidance to divisions on channel, market, and product activation

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent Sales/GTM job experience, MBA preferred

    • Consumer package goods experience in DSD environment

    • Malt Beverage, Spirits/Wine industry experience preferred

    • Minimum 7 years of working experience in DSD to include experience in both GTM operations and Account management

    • Ability to manage time and plan independently

    • Strong communication and presentation skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to work with all levels within PepsiCo

    Work Location Note - this role can be performed from any location within the West Division.
