    We are currently looking for a Control & Reporting Coordinator

    CONTROL & REPORTING COORDINATOR

    Main Purpose

    This position is responsible for maintaining and developing controls, processes and activities that guarantee compliance with Tax, Legal, Financial Reporting and Accounting guidelines and policies.

    This role will also lead initiatives to improve our accounting and reporting structure working with Sector and the business to standardize billing systems, improve HFM Reporting, and address changes in Operating needs and Tax / Legal regulations that have an impact on our accounting and reporting processes.

    Responsibilities

    Accountabilities

    • Oversee accounting activities related to our monthly close to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, working with MBS team and other internal stakeholders to remove obstacles, anticipate needs for timely month end close.

    • Key point-person for Legal, Local Tax, Corporate Tax and other management areas to resolve situations that may have an impact on financial statements

    • Partners with SSC, HR Ops and other internal stakeholders to monitor and develop SLAs, installed capacity and Cost of Services performed for MBS.

    • Leads Continuous Improvement initiatives to achieve Productivity targets and leverage volume growth.

    • Develops cost allocation models that comply with Transfer Pricing studies and leads Service fee invoicing discussions with LATAM Operating Units (OUs)

    • Partners with Internal Control to attend Corporate Audit requirements, strengthen local Controls and build Control and Compliance culture

    • Works with Sector and Local SME on Financial Reporting, Billing and Reporting standardization and improvement initiatives

    Qualifications

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related

    • Fluent in English

    • 3 to 5 years of experience in Financial Reporting systems, close processes, General and Technical Accounting.

    • SAP Experience

    • General knowledge of tax laws, contractual requirements

    • Ability to interact with Technical Accounting and Control Subject Matter Experts

    • Customer focused, adaptable, strong follow up and organizational skills

    • Strong communication skills to influence decision making

    • Ability to quickly shift and adapt to changes as they come; proactively communicating throughout the process
