irectly to the Manufacturing Manager and have a team of 3 direct reports. You will be working closely with all business functions managing our QLD EHS Agenda ensuring we maintain the highest safety and environmental standards across our Tingalpa and Lytton site.

About the Role:
Lead and develop the site EHS team and culture, ensuring all programs, procedures, training, work practices, and controls are effectively implemented and executed.
Champion the safety agenda on site to deliver innovative solutions, solve problems, and constantly improve our EHS standards.
Maintain EHS standards and regulatory requirements across environmental performance and the health and safety of all QLD employees, contractors, and visitors.
Provide EHS direction, assistance and support for corrective actions and recommendations to assure site EHS improvements.
Maintain ISO45001/ASNZS4801 and ISO14001 certifications for the site.
Always maintain Gas Safety Management Plan and ensure gas appliances within the plant are continuously reviewed to ensure ongoing compliance to relevant legislation.
Implement site workplace inspections and audits to identify work hazards, exposures, and tools to support risk assessments and safe work practises etc.
Help create a culture of zero harm within the site team by demonstrating honest, genuine care and passion for EHS.
Implement PepsiCo Recon at site to support achievement of resource conservation targets.
Collaborate with the site engineering team in the identification, development and implementation of gas safety maintenance requirements for all gas plant and equipment on site.
Collaborate with the ANZ EHS team, monitoring developing EHS regulatory requirements and risk initiatives, analyse potential impacts on system operations and provide management with information as appropriate.
Coordinate with local regulatory bodies and ensure site maintains all required EHS licenses & permits to operate.
About You:
Minimum 3+ years' experience in an EHS management role (manufacturing preferred)
Proven working knowledge of local EHS regulatory compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to develop trend analyses to guide Safety Accident/Injury elimination, Environmental Management and WWT Analytical Goals.
Tertiary qualification in Health & Safety discipline (Environmental Management Systems advantageous)
Extensive and practical knowledge of Hazard and Exposure identification, Auditing and Inspection, Conducting EHS training and related Government Reporting
Experience using SAP, MS Office suite, SharePoint, Teams and Online collaborative tools
