Diesel Mechanic I Full Time I Calgary I Afternoon shift I
$43.00 Base rate
$45.50 With CVIP Inspection License
$ 1.60 Shift premium between 5pm - 6am
Hours: 40 hours weekly
Shift: Afternoon Shift - 2:00pm - 10:30pm / Night Shift 10pm-8:30am Sunday - Wednesday 10 hour shifts
Qualification: Alberta Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment technician (On Road)

Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned
Diagnose vehicle failures and perform mechanical repairs and replacements as required
Respond to local road calls and/or coordinate service support as necessary
Maintain work area appearance and safety
Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
Leverage predictive diagnostic software to aid in eliminating vehicle breakdowns
Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments; as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, jacks and hoists
Maintain accurate records of daily activities through asset management system
Complete all necessary documents, including eHOS and electronic vehicle inspection records
Other duties and tasks assigned by Fleet Supervisor/Manager
