Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending/fountain equipment
Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures
Collect accurate and complete equipment information
Maintain parts, tools, and equipment
Follow DOT regulations
Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate customer/work order records for each delivery
Transport miscellaneous items such as compressors for repair/scrap, cardboard for recycle, etc.
Fill install and adjust to proper mix of product
Establish positive customer relationships
Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 18 year of age 21 or older if CDL required.
CDL license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable)
Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.
Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test (if applicable)
Follow DOT regulations
HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:
Working with mechanical systems (e.g., knowing mechanical concepts, troubleshooting and repairing appliances, performing basic household repair in plumbing, circuits, fuses, and electrical components, operating hand tools and power tools, etc.)
Generating and setting work schedules (e.g., determining the priority of work projects, building work schedules, scheduling tasks during the day, etc.)
Operating trucks requiring a CDL Class B license (e.g., performing basic functions like driving forwards, driving backwards, or maneuvering in tight spaces, etc.)
Serving customers (e.g., resolving customer issues, ensuring appropriate communication with store managers, following up on customer requests, etc.)
Completing basic paperwork (e.g., filling out paperwork, completing documentation to turn in to supervisor, filling out timecards mileage, etc.)
Because the material job duties of this role involve regular field work (away from a physical Company location), including visiting customer locations and interfacing with employees, vendors, and customers of the Company, and the general public -- following a conditional offer of employment, the Company has good cause to conduct a review of criminal history in accordance with applicable laws to ensure safety. A conditional offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screening.
