PepsiCo is on the look-out for a FP&A Financial Analyst to join our Finance function and be part of our team on a permanent basis.
We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo's mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands. FP&A Analyst for Arlington Plant whose main responsibilities include preparation of AOP & Forecast, period end reporting, and monthly review and presentation of PPV.

Role Overview
Responsibility for executing the Arlington & US Distribution Centres AOP, Forecast and Latest Estimate process, performing analytics and challenging assumptions before reviewing the submission with the local COGs Finance Manager and highlighting key variances.
Responsibility for the execution of the periodic close processes for Arlington & US Distribution centre Ingredients, ensuring that results are delivered RFT and on time.
Present on a monthly basis the US COGs variances to the FP&A Director and the Global COGs FP&A Manager providing insight into results and identify any risks and opportunities.
Review of monthly incurred PPV report for US locations ensuring that all variances are understood, and corrections are made in advance of costs hitting the P&L - close collaboration required with local procurement and supply chain. Identify where trends are not consistent with AOP/latest forecast.
Recommend changes to standard costs/ PIRs where an investigation warrant - clear understanding of impacts on financials must be understood (underlying knowledge of COGs must be excellent)
Collaborate closely with Plant Cogs team to ensure planning and reporting process is accurate and timely. Understand on aperiodic basis what variances are being booked.
Champion the finance agenda with local Procurement and Supply Chain teams, ensuring training is provided when required.
Support the implementation of Smartplan - key SME.
Prepare AOP standards to issue to sectors for AOP1 and 2 on an annual basis, validating changes in indices year on year and recommending changes to standards where appropriate.
Responsibility for forecasting and planning of PCNA volume and provide analysis on drivers of ingredient volume movement across PCNA plants.
Qualifications
Essential Criteria
Experience in analysing and distilling large amounts of data into meaningful and presentable content to support decision making.
Strong financial skills, excellent communications and problem solving.
Excellent Communication & Influencing Skills particularly within global multinational working environments - key to be able to influence non-finance teams (Procurement / Supply Chain)
Ability to adapt to changing situations and problem solve quickly in a changing and dynamic environment - tight month end timelines.
Demonstrated Track record of academic success and career progression.
