    Position summary

    Overview

    Job Type: Full Time, PermanentHours: 40+ hrs/week**
    Pay:** $37.07 / hr plus any applicable premiums

    Responsibilities

    In this position you will be responsible for

    • Repair and troubleshooting of our food production equipment with continued attention to preventative maintenance.

    • Responsibilities will include welding, machining, ammonia refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, plastics manufacturing, material handling, PLC, etc.

    • Safely troubleshoot various food and production equipment

    • Troubleshoot VFD, Servomotors and Network Communication devices

    • Maintain and routinely monitor all mechanical and electrical equipment (preventative and predictive maintenance). Repair, troubleshoot and install machinery, control systems and automation

    Major Physical Demands:

    • Frequently lifting/carrying a maximum of 80 lbs

    • Occasionally pushing/pulling/lifting a maximum of 100 lbs. (with the aid of a mechanical device)

    • Frequent bending and reaching above the shoulder

    Qualifications

    • High School education with valid Electrician License
    • Basic Computer Skills
    • 2-3 Years' experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred
    • Programming, PLC and HMI Experience required
    • Minimum of one-year previous electrical experience in a food plant environment
    • Strong mechanical background
    • Maintenance background should consist of hydraulics, controls, welding, electrical, PLCs, machine tools and pneumatics
    • Must be able to read and write English as there is a possibility of severe injury to self or others due to nature of work
    • Cost exposure to the company is greater than $1,000
    • Ability to work shift work (evenings/afternoons/weekends)
    • Familiar with the safe operation of hand tools
    • Team player who shows initiative, reliability, and flexibility
    • Must be able to work with a minimal amount of supervision in a fast-paced environment
    • Other duties as assigned
