    Responsibilities

    • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software and
      hardware releases to the North America Sector, while minimizing
      risk and disruption to end-users. (Accountable for making
      decisions and executing actions). Impacted jobs or

    • Establish and maintain effective communication and
      collaboration channels with IT directors, and other
      relevant parties to ensure alignment of release planning
      activities with business goals and priorities. (Accountable
      for making decisions, being informed, and providing
      consultation). Impacted jobs or groups: IT Directors,
      Release Managers, Development Teams, Quality
      Assurance Teams, , DevSecOps teams, Global Testing
      teams, Global Basis teams

    • Build and lead a high-performing release management
      team, providing mentorship, coaching, and development
      opportunities to ensure that team members have the
      necessary skills, knowledge, and support to carry out
      their responsibilities effectively. (Accountable for making

    • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous
      improvement, and high performance within the release
      planning team, through effective communication,
      recognition, and feedback mechanisms. (Accountable for

    • Continuously evaluate and improve the release planning
      process, tools, and systems, identifying opportunities for
      automation, optimization, and innovation. (Accountable

    • Manage and prioritize competing demands and
      resource constraints to ensure that release planning
      activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.

    • Ensure compliance with IT governance frameworks,
      policies, and procedures, as well as with legal and
      regulatory requirements, in all release management
      activities. (Accountable for making decisions and

    Qualifications

    Years of Experience

    • 10+ years working on IT-related roles

    • 5+ years working on release planning or project
      management roles

    • English / Spanish Required

    • Experience in release management processes and
      methodologies.

    • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
      (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.

    • Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks,
      such as Scrum and Kanban.

    • Familiarity with ITIL processes and practices.

    • Knowledge of DevOps practices, tools, and principles.

    • Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies
      in release management.

    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related
      to releases.
