    Position summary

    computer skills and a logistic background are required.

    Responsibilities

    • Assignment of orders to forklift operators

    • Manage workload by coordinating all orders and unloads to meet shipping and pick-up schedules utilizing WMS and the E80 GUI.

    • Support supervisors through analysis of workload, including degree of difficulty of each load/unload.

    • Ensure completion of daily dock schedule, including customer, STO, case pick, and line loading activities.

    • Manages dock door activity with E80 SA Locations to ensure efficiency of forklift operators.

    • Support inventory control, lot management, equipment utilization, and scheduling activities

    • Ensure hold product is systematically captured and recorded under the correct status in WMS.

    • Assign live or drop carriers to dock door that yields most efficient loading / unloading cost

    • Research orders / pick up numbers via WMS and SAP

    • Support the supervisor in managing age of stock in WMS.

    • Manage product availability (i.e. - product cuts) through proper analysis of all shortages and use of reason codes.

    • Assist supervisor and forklift operators in all WMS inventory control issues.

    • Coordinate timely check out of vessels according to end of period guidelines.

    • Coordinate periodic WMS system maintenance.

    • Ensure work is assigned and coordinated with supervisors in order to meet employee rotations

    • Support efficient document control:

    • Bills of lading for shipments and receipts

    • Customer returns

    • Dock schedules

    • Yard checks

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • The expected compensation range for this position is between $38,700 - $61,850.

    • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.

    Qualifications

    • Two or more years of experience in transportation operations

    • Degree highly recommended

    • Demonstrate understanding of logistics supply chain systems

    • Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and a Warehouse Management System

    • Must work and participate effectively in a team environment

    • Must possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with carriers, customers (both external and internal) and distribution operations

    • Timely and effective verbal and written communications

    • Highly self-motivated and self-managed, with excellent prioritization and organization skills

    • Ability to communicate effectively, internally and externally, to all levels of management

    • Automation experience is a plus
