    Position summary

    Overview

    JOB PURPOSE
    As part of the sales team the primary role of this position is to maximize our on-shelf presence in all outlets served by the merchandiser. Additionally, when required the merchandiser will conduct in-store sampling sessions and in-store sampling and/or promotions. Planograms must be adhered to for both on and off shelf displays. Any non-compliance to the agreed arrangements must be reported to the pre-seller immediately. In addition to these duties the merchandiser is required to supply the pre-seller with the latest market information in order to take advantage of any selling opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    Accountabilities:
     Call on specific OT outlets as per daily journey plan provided by your supervisor.
     Merchandize SSFL products within your OT stores in the various access points, shelf, stand, floor display.
     Place POS material wherever applicable next to our SSFL displays.
     Ensure all access points are merchandized as per approved planograms.
     Rotate product using FIFO method, and remove sub-standard products.
     Maintain clean and fresh stock of SSF products on the shelf at all times.
     Monitor and report competitive activities.
     Report any deviations from agreed terms with your assigned OT customer / outlet.
     Report daily activities of the prior day to your supervisor.
     Participate in sampling / redemption campaigns when required.
     Maintain appropriate personal appearance, and professional behavior in line with Frito Lay code of conduct.

     Execution Standard.
     LTA enforcement.
     Journey plan adherence.

    Qualifications

     Valid driving license.
     Service-level oriented.
     Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
