Job Overview

This role is responsible for managing key sub-modules of sector coordinated NRM-International Pricing projects / inputs (https://e.g. Price corridors & exposure risks across BU's, implementation of the European Comm. Policy framework by channel, etc), and lead end-to-end smaller contained NRM projects within the European Sales team.

Responsibilities

Reporting

  • Drive the monthy NRM performace reporting. Keep lenses on FY landing and profitability impacts

  • Provide rational & explanations through qualitative information from local stakeholders.

  • Build presentation and share in a dedicated forum to the Sector NRM team and Finance Sector leads.

Projects

  • Support the strategic agenda for our International Pricing & Trade Terms Strategy. Aimed to optimise our customer net pricing across Europe to optimise inter customer & cross-border pricing.

  • Perform analytics to assess the international net price landscape and any inter customer / cross border pricing differences (both qualitative and quantitative assessment of differences between customer and across border price).

  • Support communications and presentations into the Senior Pricing Council group 3-4x per annum.

  • Work in partnership with local NRM teams to execute recommendations, including optimisation of local trade terms and/or pack price proposals toward international objectives.

  • Support international account teams in buying group & international customer negotiations and trade terms planning, and responding to ad hoc international pricing issues that arise throughout the year.

  • Support governance of European pricing corridors through definition and maintenance of recommended price floors, monitoring of corridor outliers and prevention of new corridor risks.

  • Delivery of small contained International Pricing projects, and sub-modules within larger sector coordinated projects (under Senior Management supervision) - https://e.g. recommendations on pricing strategies implementations or trade terms structure for customers and channels).

Core Processes: PSP - AOP

  • Build comprehensive analytics to inform the PSP / ACP processes ahead of the targets setting.

  • Build Price Corridors projections in order to give visibility and set targets on the upcoming net price exposure risks and communicate

Capabilities

  • Support the development of NRM systems / tools as part of the NRM Analytic Hub

Qualifications

  • Higher education / degree in Business
  • 5 years strong management consulting, commercial strategy or financial analysis background, ideally in a FMCG company.
  • Very strong analytical skills - excellent competency in MS Excel is a must
  • Proven experience using PowerPoint and ability to produce visually compelling presentations & communications in English for the most senior audiences
  • Financial / P&L competency in a Consumer Packaged Goods environment (experience in producing/analysing P&L data and familiarity with Gross to Net pricing build is key)
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to problem solve, search out facts and engage internal & external contacts to source data without prior detailed process/guidance
  • Ability to bring an enterprise perspective to team discussions and decision making, and to create novel recommendations informed by data, events and trends to advance the business strategy.
