    We currently have an exciting opportunity to join Quaker Oats as a Packaging Machine Operator at our Forrestfield factory!

    Responsibilities

    Details:

    • Location: Forrestfield

    • Rotating roster (6am - 2pm - Week 1), (2pm - 10pm - week 2), (10pm - 6am - Week 3)

    • Monday to Friday

    • Position: Permeant full time

    • Selection Process: Phone Conversation - Interview - Online Testing - Background and Pre-Employment Medical Checks - Decision

    In this role you will:

    • Be responsible for ensuring the continued operation of all packing equipment

    • Carrying out regular quality control checks to ensure labelling and printing requirements are maintained. And follow escalation process as required.

    • Ensure bags are filled and sealed correct in accordance with requirements

    • Ensure the finished product meets specification

    • Ensure documentation is completed in full and in a legible manner

    • Timely fault reporting to ensure continuous running.

    • Barcode scanning

    • Drive KPIs

    • Resolve basic machine faults

    • Maintain acceptable standards on safety, quality, productivity, and reliability

    • Communicate with Quality, Rolling, Milling and maintenance departments

    Qualifications

    You will have:

    • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment (desired)

    • Good communication and problem-solving skills

    • Understanding of GMP requirements and work standards

    • Forklift operator certificate (or willing to obtain)
