The Global Business Service Financial Control Team is a dynamic Center of Excellence that provides a broad range of financial services to all PepsiCo businesses within North America and overall thought leadership for financial processes globally.

This position is part of Global Business Service Financial Control organization. Providing finance and control services to all PepsiCo US business Units.
We are looking for a Payroll Manager who is a passionate, results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment to work on the Global Business Service Financial Control. Payroll Manager contributes to the efficient day-to-day operations for the Global Business Service Financial Control Teams and directly reports to our Director of Payroll.
This role is based out of our Plano, Texas location
Responsibilities
The Payroll Manager responsibilities cover a range of duties including but not limited to:
Gatekeeper to harmonized and compliant SAP payroll system configuration and associated processes
Translate end user business requirements to facilitate the design, configuration, documentation, and testing of application solutions by IT
Validate the testing effectiveness and accuracy of third-party vendor
Provide business user sign off on IT changes
Negotiate technical and non-technical solutions that satisfy the business user and conform to technical architecture
Deliver team member training on system and process changes that impact core deliverables
Oversight and monitoring of high-risk processes
Provision SAP access following prescribed security requirements
Deliver best practices and drive regulatory compliance in systems and processes
Identify risk and concerns for business partners related to proposed solutions and changes
Research and analysis of pay related system or process anomalies in response to queries from field HR, audit, legal and other key business partners
Drive issue resolutions followed by root cause analysis and recommended remediations
Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities in the end-to-end payroll scope
Coordinate travel and manage expense reporting, ensuring accurate T&E, SAP, P-card submissions, and reconciliation
Prepare and handle confidential and personnel information with the utmost trust, interface appropriately with many internal and external clients, and senior executives
Support team rewards and recognition programs, engagement committees and events
Qualifications
High School Diploma
5+ Years of SAP HCM Payroll system support
Solid understanding of SAP HR modules; Time Management, Compensation, Benefits, Garnishments, Taxation, FI Finance and Employee Central
Define and/or translate business requirements to IT for design and configuration
Perform detailed validation of SAP HCM payroll related test cases with IT and third party vendor
Supported payroll of > 5K multi state employees
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Work effectively both independently and in a team environment
Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple concurrent tasks
Prioritize multiple activities transitioning quickly between baseline and projects
Identify and deliver opportunities for continuous improvement
Preferred:
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or IT
Supported payroll of > 10K multi state and Canada employees
Understanding of governance models working with outsourced payroll service provider
HR system support experience or strong working knowledge of HR system integrations to payroll
Working knowledge of Employee Central 2+ years
