Procurement Travel Coordinator
Main Purpose
Work with our key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure needs of travelers are met and competitive terms are in place with Suppliers. Key Areas include::
Lead travel Center of Excellence (COE): Direct day to day activities for L06, Resolve traveler issues, build supplier relationships.
Visibility: RFx inputs/processes, suppliers, items, etc. to maximize Procurement strategies and negotiations.
Productivity: Ensure best terms are in place across supplier portfolio, leading to productivity and value-added services.
Compliance: Drive compliance to travel policies and contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
Establishing and executing expectations gathering and management process for key stakeholders. Communicating with stakeholder in markets
Create synergies across all regions and establish common business agendas with all RFx markets in order to identify growth and/or alignment opportunities.
Lead all activities related to supplier selection for Travel (Agency, Air, Hotel, Car, Limo, etc.) services. Primary focus is North America, but some suppliers are global.
Lead Travel COE business activities. Set strategies for day to day business activities, meet with business team members, address travel issues for travelers.
Resolve travel issues for our most senior executives - Pepsico Executive Council (PEC).
Build and report travel and Financial Services rebates to appropriate teams. Ensure forecasting processes are in place and accurate.
Drive usage of preferred suppliers in air, car, and hotel categories. Partner with business to create visibility and compliance to meetings and event spend to ensure preferred properties are being utilized or exceptions are provided.
Lead competitive bidding (RFx) processes across Travel suppliers. Select suppliers based on defined requirements.
Communicate to North American traveler base and Administrative Assistant teams through Yammer and the Travel internal website. Maintain current information across communication media.
Work with internal teams to provide travel and Financial services spend analytics.
For Strategic Travel suppliers, provide Procurement support of the RFx processes, communication, and ongoing business reviews.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with Procurement / Finance / Travel preferred
3-4 years of experience in GP Operations/Shared Services
Ability to work with Senior Executives and resolve their issues efficiently
Advanced/Fluent English. Role will interact with North American team daily
Functional knowledge Depth of different aspects of Procurement such as sourcing, category management, processes and tools.
Breath / Depth experience in sourcing processes and technologies, with experience of implementing them in a global and regional environment
Interpersonal skills - Strong communication and influencing skills to all organizational levels
Ability to translate complex situations into executive level communication
