Digital Factory Overview:
The Digital Factory is an end-to-end ecosystem focused on re-imagining the way we do work globally supporting Global Business Services (GBS) and operating businesses across sectors to optimize processes, and digitize capabilities, reports/analytics, experiences, and services.
It is a centralized function that works with businesses, sectors, markets, and regions to develop and deliver scalable digital solutions.
This factory leverages a core set of integrated technologies, such as AI, ML, RPA, Conversational AI, etc. to digitize processes, reports, and capabilities across the value chain.
The Role:
As the Product Design & Excellence Lead, you will execute end-to-end product design for new digital products, processes, and reports. Also, you will research, brainstorm, conceptualize and design powerful, effective, and digitally enabled user-centered solutions and act as an advocate for the end user in all product design decisions. Develop and implement design standards and best practices for digital product development to ensure consistency is also a main focus for the person that leads this agenda.
Responsibilities
Oversee all digital product design efforts across GBS and Digital Factory.
Define standards for GBS Digital Factory user experience and acts as an advocate for the end user in all product design decisions, personas, user experience and journeys.
Bring thought-leadership for optimal product design, including maintaining deep knowledge of emerging trends and latest technologies.
Build a scalable foundation for product designs that are data-driven, simple and intuitive with compelling user experience and achieve targeted benefits; constantly evaluate digital experience infrastructure to identify enhancement opportunities.
Manage a team of product designers ensuring each of their individual product designs map up to the broader digital design standards.
Collaborate with functional heads to understand business vision and goals and translate it into unique and impactful product experiences - primary conduit between Business / Function and digital factory.
Closely work with Automation and Reporting Factory to ensure agreed design follows the development lifecycle and act as an interface for the development and testing team.
Collaborate with business partners (IT and D&A) to evaluate digital concepts, opportunities and vendors to assess their value and how they best fit into the existing ecosystem of solutions.
Qualifications
Prior experience leading or managing a team of product designers, developers, or project managers.
Prior experience in designing E2E digital journey, including ideation, validation, development and delivery.
Experience planning and conducting both quantitative and qualitative user research at all stages of product development.
Experinece in leading large scale digital transformation programs involving design, development and delivery of digital products using integrated set of technologies followed by change management and digital adoption.
Strong problem solving and communication skills with ability to articulate design vision to business users.
Strong collaboration and experience working with global teams and ability to navigate multiple stakeholder groups.
Prior consulting experience focused on large scale digital transformation, customer journeys and digital adoption.
