What's Your Role?
As the Sales Director Designate on the Kroger customer team, you will play a significant role in growing the topline business for one of our largest customers. This is an exciting role as the Director will be a part of growing categories: tea, coffee, and water as well as Gatorade and our Carbonated Soft Drink portfolio. The qualified candidate will have excellent strategic selling and negotiating capabilities along with the ability to influence and wire across all levels of the organization. This is a very fast paced environment which requires strong time management and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Exceed annual net revenue plan, profit, and grow LRB share
Build best in class customer relationships through category solutions, simplifying the work, excellent communication, detailed follow up
Offer new and creative solutions based on shopper insights data and fact-based analysis
Develop persuasive and insights based selling presentations anchored upon customer, shopper, category, and competitive insights. Ensure plans are aligned with Kroger's strategic and tactical imperatives
Lead the development, selling and execution of Kroger's Joint Business Plan to deliver accelerated growth, market share growth and brand specific strategic initiatives
Communicate customer plans to appropriate cross functional support teams in a concise and timely manner to improve execution and sales potential (Retail, Finance, Logistics and Customer Service Teams)
Compensation & Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $125,900 - $249,900.
Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Minimum 8 - 10 years of selling experience, preferably with a consumer-packaged goods organization
Degree preferred, in business or related major
Demonstrated collaborative leadership skills
Ensures implementation and adherence to initiatives.
Analytical skills, ability to link strategies and objectives to develop a plan
Strong use of influencing skills to gain alignment, agreement, and commitments (internal/external).
Excellent communication skills: ability to send and receive information clearly
Strong planning/organizing skills: capable of managing major projects simultaneously
Superior presentation skills, both in development of compelling stories and in presenting them at all levels within customer and internal organization.
