The Senior Analyst, Global Selection Assessment will support the Global Talent Management CoE in the design, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of technical and functional assessments for pre-employment selection and development. This includes ensuring continued adherence to legal, regulatory compliance and professional standards. This role will assist in responsibilities such as insights, policies, and procedures for our global selection process including leadership assessments, interview guides, and interview best practices. Key customers and stakeholders include: Sector HRBP/Talent Management Teams, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Functional HRBPs, and leadership in technical functions (e.g., Strategy, eComm, IT).
Responsibilities
Serve as SME/expert in employee selection processes, tools, and psychometrics
Partner with Talent Acquisition leaders, HR, and business leaders to address specific selection needs and provide action-oriented solutions
Refine and design technical assessments (e.g., coding assessments for software engineers, data analysts, data engineers, etc.) and functional capability assessments (previous examples include Franchise, Global Procurement, and Marketing Functions) to meet changing business needs
Lead and execute a global job analysis of PepsiCo's technical roles
Support ongoing use and enhancements of structured interviewing materials, training, and policies
Work with psychological assessment and selection vendors to support continuous improvement efforts, including job analysis, validation analyses, adverse impact modeling, and legal documentation for policy and risk mitigation
Work with HR Operations on the integration of new and existing vendor linkages to HR systems for reporting requirements and data flow-through from selection to internal hire and for reporting (both standard and custom)
Maintain a passion and understanding for the PepsiCo selection agenda, including analysis, design, program implementation, and working with all levels of management in alignment with the selection strategy
Utilize large scale datasets to conduct bi-annual insights analyses on related technical and functional assessments
Conduct necessary research on various topics / items for client (e.g., function, sector, BU) interventions
Other GTM-related project work, including support of assessment and development programs and talent analytics projects
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology required (ABD also accepted)
Knowledge and working experience in assessments (personality assessments, functional capability assessments, and cognitive ability assessments)
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in psychometric principles and experience with empirical validation models and research (with strong background in US legal requirements)
Strong organizational and project management skills; strict attention to detail and ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
Internal selection experience and/or external consulting
Superior writing and presentation skills (e.g., ability to write custom narratives using assessment data)
Outstanding collaboration and influencing skills
Possess a business mindset; ability to work through organizational complexity and ambiguity
Data analytics capability and knowledge of either SPSS and/or R
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SPSS, PowerPoint, and Word)
Tech industry experience preferred
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,000 - $ 100,000 based on a full-time schedule
Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
