    Responsibilities

    You will learn about our business model, our processes and gain the experience of how to influence cross-functionally, interact with our team of sales professionals, develop and lead a strategic agenda to drive results. In this role, you will benefit from a 12-month program which begins with 4-6 months of structured onboarding allowing you the opportunity to acclimate to PepsiCo's fast-paced environment. This will build strong foundational knowledge while also increasing ownership and responsibility within the role to set you up for success.

    The Senior Sales Manager Designate will learn the essential skills and develop a cross-functional network needed to execute account management responsibilities for Frito Lay. This is an exciting role as the Senior Sales Manager Designate will eventually have full responsibilities for the Frito-Lay portfolio, selling into a specific customer or geographic. The qualified candidate will have excellent strategic selling and negotiating capabilities along with the ability to influence and wire across all levels of the organization. This is a very fast paced environment which requires strong time management and excellent customer service.

    • Successfully onboard to Frito-Lay/PepsiCo, learning about our business model, our processes and gain the experience of how to influence cross-functionally, interact with our team of sales professionals
    • Be part of the Frito-Lay sales organization learning the key PepsiCo competencies as part of Frito Lay's Value Channel team, eventually leading to a specific customer/channel for Frito Lay. Future responsibilities include
      • Deliver Annual Net Revenue, Trade, and Expense budgets for specific geographic area or specific customer/channel

      • Partner with team to develop and present Frito Lay's Annual Operating Plan to your customer/channel and Frito Lay leadership teams

      • Influence internal business partners to support your channel/customer and Frito Lay's Growth agenda

      • Recommend improvements and implement new processes and programs where necessary

      • Partner with Sales team to help develop full year customer negotiation and JBP agenda

      • Deliver pricing strategies as part of the overall revenue management process

      • Sell in Frito Lay's latest Innovation, marketing programs, and strategic initiatives in order to Deliver Market share growth across salty and savory

    Qualifications

    • https://B.S. Degree Required (MBA a plus)

    • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite

    • Minimum of 8-10 years of customer selling experience; preferably with CPG company

    • CPG experience in a direct store delivery environment

    • Knowledge and deep understanding of the retail industry

    • Strong Negotiation, Analytical, Prioritization, Interpersonal, Problem-solving, project management, and planning skills

    • Compelling interpersonal skills with the ability to craft powerful and persuasive messages

    • Dedication and ability to succeed within a dynamic organization

    • Business & financial acumen

    • Expertise with expense management and/or managing a P&L

    • The ideal candidate would be open to relocate at the end of the designate program
