    Position summary

    Overview

    Responsible for the execution of regular maintenance, trouble shooting and preventive maintenance of all type of E&I equipments

    Responsibilities

    Summary:

    • The required candidate would be responsible for executing the maintenance & trouble-shooting of electrical & instrumentation equipments, including, L.T & H.T switchgear, Field panels, motors, PLC's and Process instruments.

    Skills:

    Complete grip on operation and maintenance of following equipment:

    • Instruments like, temperature transmitters, flow transmitters, level transmitters, pressure transmitters, pressure switches

    • Pneumatic equipments like, on/off valve, solenoids, control valves, I/P converter, MOV

    • Parameterization and maintenance of VFD of Power flex, Danfoss, ABB & Siemens brand

    • Complete understanding on Rockwell Compact logic PLC, logix 5000 and wonderware HMI software

    • LT switch gear, Deep Sea bumpless transfer system, Power factor control system, Harmonics control system, MCB, MCCB, ELCB, RCB, ACB, VCB & UPS

    • Usage of Insulation tester, Megger, temperature bath, Dead weight tester, Hart Communicator, Process calibrator

    • Rockwell safety switches, safety relays & emergency stops

    • Start/Delta circuit, DOL circuit, DC control circuit, motors maintenance

    • Fire alarm & FM200 system

    • Burner management system, Air compressor electrical system, chiller and AHU electrical system

    • Relay logic and control circuit troubleshooting

    • Rockwell/Pilz/ABB safety switches and relays

    • Calibration of all kind of instruments

    • CEI Metal detector, Markem date coder, Atlas Multihead weigher, KMG vibratory conveyors,

    • Grip on MS word, MS Excel, MS power point, SAP

    • SKF Vibration meter, vibration stethoscope, vibration monitoring procedure

    • Preventive maintenance plan development & Execution, ConMon(Condition monitoring plan development & Execution.

    • Lead the Junior Artisan Electrical, in executing routine and planned maintenance activities.

    • Coordination of maintenance through contractors, contractor management & training

    • Fully versed & knowledgeable about predictive & preventive maintenance & must be computer literate with good writing skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • The candidate will be responsible for complete preventive maintenance, completion of pending tasks, dig down of chronic issues in his assigned plant area.

    • He would also be responsible for developing the maintenance SOPs and update preventive maintenance plans for the electrical & instrumentation equipment.

    • He will be responsible for review & maintain the critical parts inventory of his assigned plant area.

    • He will be responsible for repair management and utilization of Electronic devices to reduce the consumption of new parts.

    • He will be responsible to develop learning material & deliver training regarding his assigned plant area.

    • He will be responsible to develop himself for maintenance of complete plant installations.

    • He will be responsible to maintain 5S, initiate Kaizen and maintain discipline.

    • Must have relevant experience and knowledge of handling E&I scope in new projects.

    • Must have the skill to assign jobs, supervise & assess work and lead the team to achieve the task.

    • He will be responsible for developing monthly performance report of his assigned plant area.

    • He will be responsible for effective daily shift report writing.

    • He will be responsible for purchase of parts, required for his assigned plant area.

    • He will be responsible to deal with contractors for assigned jobs.

    • He will be responsible to initiate Kaizen & improvements to reduce down time in his assigned plant area

    • He will be responsible to participate in team building activities.

    • He will be responsible to initiate Electricity & water usage reduction kaizens.

    • He will be responsible to initiate Productivity projects.

    • He will be responsible to participate in safety work groups.

    • He will be responsible to learn & comply food safety regulations & principals.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge/Skill Experience Competencies

    Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical/Electronics

    8 to 10 years in a similar capacity

    Sound knowledge of handling situations independently
