Navy Marine Corps
The Navy Marine Corps business group provides end-to-end IT solutions to the Department of the Navy including transport, networking, end user hardware and services, cybersecurity and staffing. Using agile engineering and DevOps methods, we produce mission-specific solutions to solve the Fleet's challenges.
Perspecta has a need for a Client Manager supporting the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Logistic Command account based in Albany, GA.
Plans and directs the delivery of contracted business activities throughout the contract's lifecycle (from opportunity awareness/business development through contract closure) for portfolio of contracts/task orders. Accountable for customer satisfaction with respect to services. Cultivates potential opportunities based on the constant interaction and relationship development with the customer. Ability to articulate USMC customer requirements to Account management for identifying opportunities and any delivery risks. Accountable for the financial performance of the contract - in terms of Revenue /Margin and Growth potential on the portfolio of contracts/task orders. Assists in establishing yearly budgets and controls expenses to achieve financial goals. Leads opportunity awareness/definition sessions and business negotiations with customer. Directs solution, operational service, partner, and sub-contractor teams that deliver services to the customer. Pro-actively contributes to the customer's mission success, planning and budgeting process. Develops strategies and processes with the customer in areas such as performance metrics and measure, escalation change management and communication. Maintains effective communication with and between all functional areas of the account team, as well as with Perspecta at large including its executive leader
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
3-5 years of Client Management experience
5 years USMC experience-active duty qualifies and is preferred
Preferred experience with USMC Logistics Command
Track record of managing somewhat complex portfolio of services deals and multiple cost recovery financial methods
Experience in business profit and loss management and financial concepts
DOD Secret clearance required
ITIL Foundation certification preferred
Agile methodology basic level certification (SAFE, ICAgile) preferred
