The Analyst shall support incident response for a system as suspected incidents arise. The Analyst shall provide remote and on-site response to incident issues on a per case basis to assess (under the oversight and at the direction of the government) the status of the government information and the integrity of the information system. This position will assesses, analyzes, assist, and addresses security risks associated with a compromised system in accordance with DHS 4300 and other guidance. The Cybersecurity Incident Response Analyst will provide administrative, written and technical support for the successful response to a cybersecurity incident.
- Bachelors degree required and 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Incident Response or related field and experience
- Analytical and technical skills in computer network defense operations, ability to lead/support efforts in Incident Handling (Detection, Analysis, Triage), Hunting (anomalous pattern detection and content management) and Malware Analysis
- Knowledge of Government security requirements, processes and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Superior communication skills, both written and oral.
- A U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance must be a US Citizen.
- DHS EOD or Suitability
- Certifications in computer forensics desired
