The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions.
Responsible for analyzing and translating business, information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve business objectives.
Works with enterprise architecture, application and infrastructure teams to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual design for the project.
Analyzes technical requirements; identifies and evaluates alternatives for technology and integration across applications and system. Develops enterprise level solutions that integrate across applications, systems and platforms.
Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and solutions to solve business problems.
Thorough understanding of cloud computing; virtualization technologies, IAAS, PAAS, SAAS delivery models and the current competitive landscape.
Viewed as a technical expert and critical resource cross multiple disciplines.
Reviews performance trends across the broader technology portfolio and initiates actions to address areas at risk for potential impacts
Responsibility to optimize the resources & work on resource tagging to allocate costs and for carefully planning of budgeting, governance, and reporting.
Experience with Disaster Recovery
Lead architecture initiatives from inception to completion
Ability to collaborate with offshore teams
Secret clearance or ability to hold a Secret clearance.
BS 12-15, MS 10-13, Phd 10+
Experience working in cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS
Experience in a CI/CD and DevOps practices
Five or more years of professional experience as a senior technical resource leading large software implementation projects
Extensive experience in Linux / Unix Administration
Strong experience using Infrastructure as code
Hands-on experience with developing, architecting and implementing REST APIs and micro services
Demonstrated ability to evaluate cloud services, applications, hardware, and software.
Concrete understanding of and background in application development using micro-service architecture.
Scripting experience using shell, python, ansible, or terraform.
Proven experience in developing / building pipeline and integrating with Code tools.
Aptitude to formulate and articulate technical vision in order to anticipate and prepare for emerging systems and technology needs with the ability to understand multiple systems or technologies and how they interact.
Ability to take accountability and make sound architectural and strategic decisions.
Experience with modern authentication, authorization, and provisioning protocols/standards like OIDC, SAML, OAuth2, FIDO, SCIM and familiarity with LDAP, Kerberos RADIUS, XACM
Experience working with Integration products such as MuleSoft, APIGEE, Tibco, IBM etc
Experience architecting solutions involving SharePoint Framework, Teams, Power Platform, Common Data Service, and Azure components
Knowledge of current O365 and Azure services, and standards, including SharePoint Framework, Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform, Teams, and Common Data Services
