The NBIS project currently has requirements to exchange information with over 25 government internal and external data sources. The Network Engineer will be responsible to execute all of the tasks related to the onboarding the target data sources. This includes filling out related forms, as well as determining the best technical approach to establish connectivity with the data source
Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D.
Must have a Secret Clearance
Knowledge and experience integration with data sources through various communication protocols. Ability to interpret existing Interface Control Documents, as well as creating these in the case NBIS needs to expose services. Understanding of Synchronous and Asynchronous communication. Must be familiar with the DISA Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) and the Cloud Security Requirements Guide (SRG), as well as general DoD Security practices
