The selected candidate will become part of a team of engineers responsible for following requirements through the entire development lifecycle. The candidate will work with mission partners to gather needs and prepare those needs for funding approval. This will require technical understanding and continuous communications between several stakeholders. The candidate will work with the Systems Engineering team to document the needs and create artifacts for funding determination. Once approved, the candidate will stay engaged with the development team to communicate updates to the mission partners and ensure their needs are being accurately addressed. The candidate will be the focal point for multiple mission requirement requests.
The candidate will provides feedback to design engineers and evaluates end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. Working as expert, the candidate will conduct research and evaluate technical performance of software products and overall segments and systems. Candidate will ensure products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods.
The candidate will participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements. This includes reviews of test plans/procedures and ensuring requirements verification/validation. Candidate will produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials.
- Prior experience and fundamental knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle
- Requirements Gathering experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Some basic knowledge of RF
- Previous CONOPS development
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
