Perspecta is hiring a Program Manager to lead our team to transform the Air Forces simulation architecture system. This initiative calls for the definition, design, delivery, deployment, and sustainment of a Simulator Common Architecture (SCA) across the Air Forces training portfolio, along with the creation of a Security Operations Center (SOC) and Library and the execution of the Management Services. The initiative will also incrementally implement a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) as well as a set of common standards for Air Force simulators. The Perspecta PM will be the primary interface to the Government customer and will be responsible for program execution. Join our Team!
Essential duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of the program, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Acquires follow-on business associated with areas of responsibility and supports new business development
Manages one or more Task Orders
Responsible for all hiring and staffing actions
Trains and supervises personnel.
Primary interface to the government customer for all Program communications
Implement and maintain Earned Value Management System (EVMS) that incorporates cost and schedule variance reporting for each Task /order
Responsible for all financial and technical reporting and Quality control program.
12-15 years experience in DoD program management on similar complex IT and /or Engineering programs
Ability to manage complex, large-scale project schedule with multiple inter-dependencies and integration activities Experience working directly with senior AF customers
Highly proficient in EVMS, Risk Management, DoD Contracts
Proven ability to manage and control schedule / scope / cost on a challenging program
Proposal / estimating experience
Subcontract Management Experience
Experience with the AFLCMC customer desired
Air Force Simulator Experience preferred
Excellent relationship building strong teams and developing team leadership skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to travel (as required )
Current Secret security clearance with ability to gain Top Secret
