Perspectas Civilian, State and Local segment partners with the U.S. Federal Civilian State and Local governments to provide infrastructure services, business solutions, and digital transformation services that help them achieve policy objectives and integrate citizen-centric services.
Provide oversight, guidance, direction, and leadership to all contracted team members assigned to Unified Communications support
Provide briefings to leadership, create reports and documentation on demand, ensure deliverable compliance, and interface between customer organization and team members
Provide overall responsibility for the success of the UC contract team effort, to include managing staff, process and project initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring and controlling all collaborative efforts of the UC contract staff
Work with the program manager, to provide effective and efficient management of the Contractors effort
Conduct regular Scrums and checkpoints to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding UC projects
Assist in the creation of UC guidelines, policies, standards and procedures
Create and deliver presentations, and represent the team in briefings and in presentations
Converse and provide recommendations to the team and federal government customer team on unified communications activities and actions
Experience with leading and managing Agile/DevOps teams and processes
Experience with leading, managing, and working in an ITIL framework to deliver enterprise services
Effective time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet schedules and deadlines, to multi-task, to plan, organize and prioritize work assignments and pay close attention to detail
This position will have strong verbal and writing skills, strong project management skills, and possess a strong and varied networks and unified communications background. The ability to represent the team in briefings and create presentations are key. This position is expected to have a good understanding of all UC systems, architecture, technologies and related activities and be able to converse and provide recommendations to the team and Federal team on unified communications activities and actions. Training required to support this expertise in existing and potential future technologies will be required and provided by the contractor.
Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of analysis related to design, development, and integration of hardware and software to support large scale UC environments
A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing IT projects and programs
Familiarity with DevOps and ITIL processes
Experienced in AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud Services, and other Cloud environments
Experience with Cisco VTC, Avaya/Polycom telephony, and other UC technologies
Experience managing geographically disperse, on-site Tiered support team
