ROLE SUMMARY
Business Analytics & Insights (BAI) harnesses the power of data to drive robust analytical insights that inform some of Pfizer's most critical business questions. With colleagues across the globe, BAI’s rigorous analytical expertise is depended on as the compass and decision support for the enterprise. Our dynamic, exciting team of subject-matter experts comes from diverse backgrounds and experiences, including market research, data science, digital analytics, finance and consulting. As a team, we collaborate to turn data into meaningful insights that will have a direct impact on patient's lives and the future of Pfizer as a data-driven organization.
The BAI Senior Manager, China, will partner with the China commercial teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality strategic business decision support. As a member of the Business Analytics & Insights organization, this colleague will partner with Commercial Finance, Biopharm Ops, Digital COEs, Chief Business Officer COEs and other analytics functions as necessary to ensure all resources are fully and appropriately leveraged to deliver robust solutions to business issues.
The person in this role will be a proactive business partner with country or multi-country leadership team. He/she will develop and deliver the analytics and insights plan to support the adaptation of global strategies and tactics for the local market. This will include performance measurement, customer analytics, customer journey development, customer data mining and market research, digital analysis, haoaas needed to uncover insights.
This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to our business. The successful candidate will join BAI colleagues worldwide that are constantly supporting business transformation through their proactive thought leadership, innovative analytical capabilities and their ability to communicate highly complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways.

PROFESSIONAL CHARACTERISTICS
PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
Understands quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Extensive experience in management of secondary data. Knowledgeable about study design and able to assess vendor technical capabilities.
Proven ability to connect, integrate and synthesize analysis and data into a meaningful ‘so what’ to drive concrete strategic recommendations and enable commercial decision making. Capable of describing relevant caveats in data or in a model and how they relate to business question.
Expertise in the field of customer/omni-channel analytics
Previous demonstrated experience of forecasting revenues
5+ years of commercial, strategy and/or research/analytics experience, experience with budget and resource allocation management, SFE analysis
Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred in a quantitative discipline.
