    Position summary

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Every day, our colleagues ensure that the medicines are distributed all over the world from the various production sites as quickly and efficiently as possible. We guarantee correct documentation, taking into account the numerous procedures related to international pharmaceutical legislation, and we coordinate shipments, both nationally and by sea, by rail and by air. LCZ Operation Support is responsible for the implementation and follow-up of all customs declarations with regard to customs legislation. This includes setting up and providing periodic reporting on customs activities and taking actions based on this reporting. The role will require effective communication to independently drive and coordinate with colleagues in regional, site and global functional teams and Pfizer’s contracted Global Freight Forwarders.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    Import • Follow-up of incoming shipments • Coordinate the import with forwarders, provide timely and correct import instructions and inform delivery planning and/or customer service • Submit accurate reports to authorities • Responsible for the correct execution of special import documentation and assisting with questions from the customs authorities • Resolving disputes/complaints that have been submitted • Provide feedback/information to stakeholders regarding imports • Ensuring accurate maintenance of SOP/WI'S • Collaborate with external stakeholders who support the inbound/import process Export • Coordinate export with forwarders, provide timely and correct export instructions (EDIS) to forwarders • Ensure correct and timely execution of export declarations • Responsible for the correct execution of special export documentation and assisting with questions from customs authorities • Provide timely and appropriate feedback to customs authorities (GVC and/or GRM) • Ensuring accurate maintenance of SOP/WI'S • Responsible for archiving documents in Opentext • Provide feedback/information to stakeholders regarding export • Responsible for sending declarations of preferential origin to customer service • Collaborate with external stakeholders who support outbound/export • Archiving files in opentexrt • Keep stock records daily • Periodic stock checks of bonded goods • Audit and Compliance • Provide timely and accurate input for all audit requests • Take the necessary actions to work in compliance Page 2 • Properly document processes in SOPs and WIs • Project Support and Continuous Improvement • Support and participate in projects relevant to the team • Striving for permanent improvement of working methods, by adhering to OPEX EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE •

    Undergraduate Degree (any field) with 1 year experience (or) M.B.A. (Operations) related experience in analytics, ideally with Logistics Operations/Supply Chain/Materials Management. • Proven ability to work in a complex matrix organization with strong teamwork orientation. Work effectively in an environment of competing priorities and deadlines. TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Indicate the technical skills required and/or preferred, as applicable. • SAP experience and Business Intelligence/data • Hands on experience using MS Excel • Must have worked and having working experience in SAP • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, logical thinking • Ability to connect to business and data and bridge the gap of Business and data • Excellent MS Office skills • Excellent written and verbal/spoken English communication skills.
