    What You Will Achieve

    As a member of the Pfizer Digital Global Product Development (GPD) Core Solutions Team, this role will be accountable for the technology and solution development, engineering and systems integration and delivery of core GPD Clinical Data Management solutions.

    GPD delivers innovative clinical designs and quantitative methods for assets and programs and delivers high quality data and reporting for trials and submissions. GPD strives to be the preferred collaborative partner for harnessing the power of clinical operations, scientific and subject data to drive robust evidence-based decision-making and shape the scientific and healthcare environment.

    Bringing to bear both superb engineering expertise and technology capabilities in the execution of solutions delivery, this role is responsible to engineer, integrate and configure the technology solutions supporting Global Product Development in partnership with Client Partners, Digital Teams and GPD Information Management (IM) service providers, team members and stakeholders.

    How You Will Achieve It

    • Ensure the delivery of solutions development deliverables for CDMS application as defined by the solutions delivery lifecycle and best practices that are regulatory compliance and performant.
    • Responsible for the CDMS solutions and systems integration of foundational Clinical Data Management solutions for electronic data capture, meta data management, data standards and clinical trials management.  Examples include integrations with PMDR, Inform, TMS and Siebel.
    • Contribute technical expertise to project planning and management by identifying technical outcomes, tasks and system dependencies, and estimating resources, cost and complexity.
    • Assist with the performance of risk analysis and impact assessments when integrating solutions with other systems.
    • Assist Application Service Delivery Manager creation of application support plans. Transition application knowledge to support teams.  Provide technical help as required for critical priority issues.
    • Responsible for partnering with architects, application developers, solution engineers, database engineers, designers and computing infrastructure personnel in the creation, development and delivery of solutions. 
    • Contributes to the design and configuration checkpoints and peer reviews for solution configuration, design, creation, installations and/or releases.ns

    Must-Have

    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science or related field.
    • 1 to 3 years of relevant technical experience with emphasis on solutions, application or systems engineering.
    • Potential and aptitude to successfully deliver solutions and systems using one or more delivery methodologies ranging from traditional waterfall to agile**.**
    • Training or education in one or more of the following software development, systems administration, integration, data engineering, systems engineer, computer engineer or analytics.

    Nice-to-Have

    • Knowledge or training in Solutions Development Lifecycle (Agile, Waterfall) management and information technology engineering practices including technical requirements definition, design, implementation, configuration and systems life cycle management.
    • Knowledge or education in one or more of the following: database, storage, hosting, cloud, application, analytics and services technologies.
    • An understanding of the basic guidelines for technology solutions delivery in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment.
    • High level of awareness of internal and external technology trends.
    • Capable of collaborating and working effectively in team settings, frequently in virtual teams, with client partner and other technology roles
    • Capable of understanding data and integration architectures to manage, transform, and exploit data across the enterprise
    • Capable of understanding security and data privacy requirements and designing and building secure solutions technology
