    Continuous Improvement & Alignment Expert QC Ops (m/f/d)

    This is what you can look forward to:

    “Continuous Improvement & Alignment Expert QC Ops” is responsible for driving effective execution and sustainability of the Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx) Continuous Improvement (CI) processes in the Quality Control Operations Orth/Austria. Primary responsibilities include identification, prioritization, management, and execution of CI opportunities to improve the overall operational effectiveness of the PCT, reduce sources of loss, and meet improvement targets. Analyze data to drive root cause analyses and to prioritize improvements. Support the establishment of PCT goals in alignment with the sites CI Goal cascade.  The CI & Alignment Expert will provide coaching and leadership to projects ranging from basic issues to problems that are moderately-complex and cross-functional in nature.

    • Drive effective execution and sustain support of the IMEx continuous improvement (CI) process. Identify, manage, and execute CI projects
    • Coach and develop operational excellence skills of CI champions members within QC Operations and drive a culture of continuous improvement within their team
    • Input and analyze data from IMEx elements and other work units to identify areas for improvement and largest sources of loss, including collaboration with CI Specialists across ecosystems
    • Utilize data to influence project prioritization
    • Coach PCT on the CI Loop visual management principles
    • Facilitate CI Loop meetings and project prioritization as well as escalation and facilitate real-time structured problem solving
    • Receive and provide Structured GEMBA on the CI Loop Element
    • Work with PCT Lead, IMEx Deployment Lead, Tier 1 & 2 Element Owners, Operational Excellence and Area Leadership to build, maintain and improve IMEx within the work area
    • Ensure successful delivery of each IMEx ecosystem / design component as per plan and ensure integration between the various ecosystems and other transformation activities
    • Partner with other members of Network Excellence, site and above- site colleagues to drive best practices and external benchmarking examples to maximize business impact

    What you offer:

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
    • Experience in program management with a knowledge of best practice tools & SAP systems
    • Good understanding of process excellence and performance improvement tools, techniques, and concepts
    • Intellectual strength and flexibility to understand complex problems and rationalize these into workable solutions which can be delivered
    • Evidence of innovation, problem-solving and structured thinking skills
    • Able to coach others on using structured problem-solving techniques
    • Proven ability to balance multiple priorities
    • Execution-focused, fully capable of supporting processes from strategy to implementation
    • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with an ability to succinctly and creatively present robust and evidence-based messages
    • Demonstrated skills in quantitative analysis, team facilitation, and effective communications with skills to enable interactions at various levels and influence broad spectrum of PGS leaders and colleagues through project execution

    • Fluency in German & English required

    For this position we offer an attractive salary, which considers your professional as well as your personal competences and previous experiences.  The payment corresponds to the collective agreement for the chemical industry in Austria. The salary depends on education, training and expert knowledge as well as previous experience but will at least amount to EUR 49.804,58 gross per year.
