The Director, Payer & Channel Access Marketing, will have the opportunity to change the lives of appropriate patients by leading the development and growth of Brands in the Pfizer portfolio. This position will lead the U.S. payer access strategy including the payer value platform for Vyndaqel/Vyndamax, a breakthrough cardiomyopathy drug. This position is part of the U.S. Payer and Channel Access (PCA) organization and will be closely aligned to the Rare Disease North America Commercial team including the Vyndaqel Brand, post-rx and patient access teams. This role reports to the Access Lead for Rare Disease.
This individual will provide continued support during the growth phase for Vyndaqel/Vyndamax and prepare for the market evolution, including future competitive entrants. The director will lead the U.S. Value Access Team (VAT) responsible for executing the payer access plan across all key Pfizer functions. The Director will also be the PCA member representing the U.S. interests on the PHI Global Vyndaqel Value Access Team. This role will work with a cross-functional team to leverage insights in the development and evolution of a compelling payer value proposition that ensures continued access and reimbursement for appropriate patients.
We seek a high-performing individual who has a good understanding of the payer space with Brand and/or payer marketing experience. This individual should have some understanding of the market access dynamics within the rare disease category.
This individual will have the opportunity to own the payer value platform for a critical Rare Disease Brand with associated accountability for achieving and maintaining quality access for patients. The candidate should have the ability to interact with Senior Leaders and have a track record demonstrating strong leadership, marketing, communication, influence, and strategic thinking abilities.
