    Grange Castle is the largest integrated biologics manufacturing site in the Pfizer Global Supply network producing both Drug Product and Drug Substance and supplies medicines to patients around the world.  

    Role of Lead Colleague Wellness OH Advisor

    • Leads the OH site Occupational Health service reporting into the Occupational Health Manager & Pfizer EHS Lead
    • Will be aligned with Pfizer Wellness & OH strategy, develop, plan and drive implementation of appropriate policies and programs to reduce current and future OH related risks and liabilities
    • Acts as subject matter expert on Occupational Health topics and programs as required. Guides site leadership on compliance requirements.
    • Management of Occupational Health on-site team, practices, policies, and procedures which are in scope of the contract. Provides ongoing coaching and support to the Pfizer OH team
    • Lead changes in work practices, procedures, techniques in accordance with legislation and best practice in occupational health and Health and Safety and Welfare at Work Acts.
    • Provide professional advice to management on all aspects of occupational health.
    • Collate, analyze, and appropriately present occupational health data. Identifying trends and recommendations for effective management decision making.
    • Act as the principal point of contact with internal committees and external bodies as outline in the scope of service
    • Work in a clinical role as required, managing own caseload
    • Ensure employee medical records are maintained and stored in accordance with GDPR & Company requirements.
    • Audit operational processes to the standards of best practice, to optimize use of resources and to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
    • Participate at meetings and committees as required and disseminate information appropriately

    Requirements

    • Registered Nurse with a recognised Occupational Health Qualification such as OHN Certificate, Diploma or Specialist Degree/masters. Registered with An Bord Altranais
    • Previous management experience or working at a snr OHA level with a proven track record of driving health initiatives
    • Team management / lead experience essential
    • A solid knowledge of health surveillance and work exposures is essential
    • An excellent communicator for regular contact with clients and major stakeholders
    • Ability to produce relevant MI and recommend changes based upon the data
    • An excellent communicator - evidence of training / coaching non medical personnel on health issues
    • An ability to work autonomously, but have the ability to network with fellow HCP on a European basis
    • Site attendance for 3 days / week (essential) - open to some home working (max 2 days/ week)
    • Experience of using IT medical suites for case management and medical recording

    • In order to be considered for this position in Ireland you need to be legally eligible to work in Ireland.
