    What You Will Achieve

    You will help Pfizer build its information technology solutions. You will leverage your technical skills to design, develop and implement IT solutions which satisfy the short term or long terms needs of Pfizer. You will work on systems architecture, network systems and application infrastructure to deliver results.

    As a Manager, you provide guidance to operational teams for managing projects. Your planning skills will help in preparing forecasts for resource requirements, and providing areas of improvement for products, processes or services. Through your comprehensive knowledge of principles, concepts and theories of the discipline, you will also work towards advancing new concepts and methodologies. You will be able to take a leadership role to facilitate agreements between different teams.

    How You Will Achieve It

    ROLE SUMMARY

    • Independently analyze new business requirements, design, and deliver solutions for Global Business Solutions and eCommerce functionality at Pfizer.  A primary focus will be on managing Pfizer’s Pre Order Entry Tool (PET) capability, which validates Pfizer’s supply policy for EMEA orders received electronically, and is tightly integratees with SAP SOM and Pfizer’s Prime eCommerce platform.
    • Meet with business area colleagues in Europe and beyond to innovate Pfizer’s PET/eCommerce strategy and drive improved communications and customer experiences for our customer service and trade colleagues.
    • Continuously align and review Pfizer’s supply policy system’s regional functionality footprint in close collaboration with the PET support organization.

    ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Demonstrate broad understanding of Sales Order Management operations processes and supporting technologies.
    • Collaborate with commercial and trade business users to understand business requirements, provide cost estimates, and design edge system solutions to meet business requirements. 
    • Manage the continuous improvement intake from the business stakeholders, aligning solutions to the Pfizer Digital strategy and the PET application functionality footprint. 
    • Communicate effectively with technical teams to get things done and managing the business users’ expectations to ensure clear communication of the issues to seek input on a timely manner
    • Develop strong relationships at all levels in the organization and collaborate with stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds and in different geographical regions
    • Lead teams of consultants and influence/collaborate closely with regional and global Digital teams to deliver solutions in time and on budget.
    • Collaborate with and guide the PET BTAMS Support team, SOM/GIS support teams
    • Provide guidance, lead/co-lead projects, manage own time to meet objectives and plan resource requirements for projects across the division.
    • Act as a thought leader on emerging digital technologies.
    • Work within a team of product managers responsible for the vision, strategy, design, and roadmap of digital products for patients and the internal stakeholders.
    • Use technical acumen and knowledge of technologies to provide detailed advice regarding applications and executes specialized tasks.
    • Analyze support trends, identify and lead implementation of process improvements.
    • Evaluate historical data and build appropriate models to understand user behavior, business trends, and performance.
    • Collaborate with the Global Business Intelligence (GBI) regional and global colleagues for successful delivery of multiple projects.
    • Ensure the delivery of project management deliverables as defined for the size, scale, complexity and regulatory compliance of the assigned program or project.
    • Ensure proper Systems Development Lifecycle Management Regulatory Compliance.
    • Deliver fully automation regression testing of major solutions for reduced testing time.
    • Ensure application changes and fixes are aligned with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Change Management processes.
    • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Pfizer teams through a high performing engagement model, including vibrant Communities of Practice.

    Qualifications

    Must-Have

    • Ability to define and understand customer facing business requirements, design SOM Edge functions/solutions within the Pfizer Digital strategy, and delivery systems to meet the requirements
    • Experience with Digital and Operational SOX compliance / practices
    • Good organization skills, with the range to manage 2-4 parallel deliverables concurrently
    • Implementation experience with Business Process Management tools like Camunda, Appian, Pega
    • Familiar to working in matrix organization, influencer.
    • Robust and well-honed communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present content appropriate for senior leadership.  Comfortable preparing concise and accurate summarization of complex efforts/status/concepts using creative and engaging content.
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 5+ years’ experience
    • Demonstrated experience of various Information Technology practices
    • Experience with System Application and Products eDoc framework
    • Familiar with product analytics and strong ability to carry out analysis related to customer journey, user activity, product/feature performance and other digital analytics
    • Understanding of Financial concepts and key success factors for business performance
    • Knowledge of management reporting requirements and functional design
    • Excellent communication skills

    Nice-to-Have

    • Experience designing and implementing SAP SOM solutions including EDI or edge solution extensions.  Hands-on experience with SAP configurations in Sales Order Management, API’s…
    • Expertise using MS Project, Jira, Qtest, Github to efficiently balance requirements, effort, timeline, and budget for solutioning efforts.
    • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
    • Working as part of a team on major, complex business change / IT programs
    • Knowledge of Agile principles and practical application of them in a large, complex enterprise environment.
    • Experience with ServiceNow / Celonis is beneficial
    • ABAP experience is a plus.
    • .NET experience is a plus.Integration experience with DevOps focused technologies, such as Java, API technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON) and relational database languages/technologies, including Postgres and SQL Server, and SAP data and functional integration technologies (ODATA, APIM, CPI)
    • Master's degree
    • Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
    • Management consulting experience
    • Experience with Agile Software Delivery and/or Scrum Master Certification
    • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, preferably Commercial or sales and marketing
