How You Will Achieve It
Contribute to completion of project milestones and organize your own work to meet project task deadlines.
Respond to safety related items and assure corrective actions are taken when necessary.
Develop and validate manufacturing processes for drug products, taking into consideration problems inherent in the transfer of technology from research to production, from other sites, or within the site.
Investigate deviations that occur on the manufacturing floor. Perform root-cause analysis and identify appropriate, effective corrective actions. Implements corrective actions in conjunction with the appropriate enabling groups, i.e. engineering, maintenance, quality, validation, environmental health and safety.
Lead technical improvement projects aimed at defect reduction, improved equipment reliability, and better equipment utilization.
Responsible for identifying and implementing efficiency, safety, quality and cost improvements on equipment and processes.
Promote cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance within the workplace by following site cGMP procedures.
Assure standard operating procedures are updated and adhered.
Develop appropriate metrics and action plans to ensure customer/business needs are met.
Manage supervision of inspection, reconciliation or dispensing and receivals of components.
Apply project management skills to lead and participate in cross-functional teams to deliver objectives on time.
Applicant must have six years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with four years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of experience.
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office programs, including MS Project or equivalent
Pharmaceutical experience in Operations, Engineering
Job will include standing, walking, and sitting. Occasional lifting may be required.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Occasional travel may be required for specific projects or training.
Aseptic gowning training is required.
Job will also require occasional weekend/evening work supporting a 24-hour/7-day operation.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $64,600.00 to $107,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
