ROLE SUMMARY:
The MAS/Pipeline Specialist are responsible for supporting the pipeline including early development Ph I/II clinical trials and external scientific collaboration across all disease/ therapeutic areas of the business
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The MAS/Pipeline Specialist recognize pipeline opportunities and support local pipeline initiatives.
Proactive collaboration with BU medical, Global Study Operations teams and RA
To facilitate good partnership with sites and investigators for development phase (including early phase I/II) clinical trials
Support with scientific expertise and lead medical to medical communications with investigators of early development.
Share DFOs and insights from the investigators to relevant internal stakeholders, such as BU medical, GSSO and RA.
Search and evaluate potential external collaboration opportunities(Academia, local companies, government etc.) to deliver value to Pfizer and our customers.
Act as the point of contact for external partners who are interested in scientific collaboration with Pfizer
QUALIFICATIONS:
Medical Doctor/Academic degree in relevant science area, with strong scientific skills and/or clinical experience
A minimum of two years' experience in a scientific and technical capacity interacting with academics, researchers, or the medical profession
Strong communication and presentations skills and ability to deliver scientific and strategic messages
Pharmaceutical Industry experience
Good working knowledge of relevant industry codes of conduct/practice (desirable)
Strong analytical, interpersonal and partnering skills
Ability to understand and influence in a highly matrixed environment
Demonstrated strategic business planning abilities and superior customer management skills
Integrity – driven decision making/high ethical standard. Demonstrated ability to act with integrity in a highly complex business environment based on good understanding of MAPP, Blue Book and other relevant Pfizer policies and SOPs.
