As Operational Excellence Lead, you will drive value and impact by leading cross-functional, side-wide strategic initiatives that drive the business towards achieving high priority goals. As Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx) system site lead, you will be responsible in delivering support across all tiers of the organization for the successful IMEx deployment and sustained implementation. Training and mentoring of colleagues in Operational Excellence tools and techniques to enable problem solving across all levels of the organization is fundamental to the role. As a change agent, you will be responsible for promoting new ways of working to create an environment that is change agile, helping to drive the creation of a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and learning at all levels within the site. How You Will Achieve It
Analyze current operations and identify opportunities for improvement
Support continual improvements of systems and work processes to drive operational efficiency
Assess the effectiveness of operational activities using analytical tools to generate proposals for improvement initiatives
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on project outcomes
Work with site functions to prioritize OE projects and monitor their progress with respect to timelines, resources and commitments
Take ownership of site IMEx system implementation and ongoing support
Lead a cross-functional team of continuous improvement champions, to recognize, prioritize and deliver on continuous improvement opportunities within their respective teams
Coach teams to deliver sustainable results and help to support their development in operational excellence & lean manufacturing principles
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of improvement initiatives with business goals
Foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement
Influence up and across the site, to drive mature Operational Excellence behaviors and culture
Partner with global OE teams to bring "one best way" standardized methodologies to the manufacturing site
Qualifications
Must-Have
Applicant must have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience OR an associates degree with 8 years of experience OR a bachelors with at least 5 years of experience OR Masters Degree with more than 3 years of experience, OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience.
Six Sigma and/or Lean Green Belt certification by a recognized third-party organization
Demonstrated experience in leading improvement projects of significant size and scope using lean six sigma methodologies, resulting in quantifiable business benefit
Strong analytical/statistical problem-solving ability, with broad business knowledge and the ability to link stakeholder needs with business processes
Experience in training and coaching candidates completing lean and six sigma projects
Strong presentation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
An understanding of and proficiency in change management
Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Minitab
Able to collaborate and partner with global teams across multiple time zones
Nice-to-Have
Knowledge of Pfizer's IMEx Production System with an understanding of deployment and execution methodologies
Black belt certification would be a distinct advantage
Good working knowledge of the Bio/Pharmaceutical Industry including Operations, Quality, Technical, Supply Chain, Engineering and Regulatory aspects. Good working knowledge of cGMP

Able to don cleanroom gowning to access manufacturing area

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $93,500.00 to $155,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
