    Pfizer (Perth) Pty Ltd is a Pharmaceutical manufacturing facility located in Bentley, supplying products to over 80 countries.

    We have an exciting opportunity to join the Warehouse team as a Warehouse Operations Specialist operating within a pharmaceutical Warehouse environment. This position is responsible for coordinating the priorities of work for various shifts, picking of materials for orders, storage of materials, arranging for cycle counts and operational support to the Warehouse teams.

    The focus of the position is to: 

    • Utilize a wide range of skills, including detailed knowledge of SAP or an equivalent ERP System.
    • Coordinate work volumes and priorities across shifts.
    • Operations support to Warehouse colleagues through a team building approach.
    • Adhere with Good Manufacturing Practices through established standards.
    • Demonstrate strong attention to compliance with EHS standards to protect yourself and others.
    • Assist with various tasks within the Warehouse operations including projects and support to the Warehouse Manager.
    • Responsible for Method 1 (M1) Investigations, Coaching and Implementation of M1 within the Warehouse Department.
    • Assist with internal and external audit preparation and presenting to auditors.
    • Assist with safety risk assessments where required.
    • Complete On the Job Training (OJT) of Warehouse staff and create new toolboxes where required.
    • Responsible for SAP training of staff within the Warehouse.
    • Support other Departments with related Warehouse SAP issues and direction.
    • Complete Pfizer Human Performance (PHP) investigations within the Department.
    • Identify, implement, and assist with continuous improvement programmes.
    • Assist with Quality Tracking System (QTS) actions within the area.
    • Update and write required Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
    • Complete Training Risk Assessments (TRA’s) in line with SOP updates.

    Successful applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Previous Warehouse experience showing a strong attention to detail.
    • LF and LO forklift License’s.
    • Ability to work under pressure and to coordinate resource workloads across shifts.
    • Detailed SAP or equivalent ERP experience within a Warehouse Department.
    • Offer specialist support to various shifts across the Warehouse including safety, GMP procedures, financial controls and training.
    • Demonstrated ability in a Warehouse environment with regards to material management, GMP procedures and financial controls.
    • Ability to investigate both safety and material issues, and report on suggested corrective actions.
    • Forklift driving experience and ability to work at heights.
    • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
    • Support the Warehouse Manager in various KPI reporting and actions.
    • Strong attention to punctuality and attendance.
    • Ability to be calm and work as part of a team.
    • Applicants must be available to work a day shift period (from 8am to 430pm) five days a week.
    • Candidates must be flexible as some overtime will be available.
    • National Police clearance demonstrating suitability for employment in this environment.
